The SAT is divided into four sections: reading, writing and language, math (without a calculator), and math (calculator allowed). Optionally, the test taker may compose an essay, which serves as the fifth exam portion.

The SAT Reading Test consists of one part with 52 questions and a time restriction of 65 minutes. 5 paragraphs with 10-11 questions each.

• The Writing and Language Test consists of one part of 44 multiple-choice questions with a time restriction of 35 minutes.
• The SAT’s mathematics test is broken into two parts: Math Test – Calculator and Math Test – No Calculator.
• The Math Test – No Calculator portion is 25 minutes long and contains 20 questions (15 multiple choice and 5 grid-in).
• The Math Test – Calculator portion is 55 minutes long and contains 38 questions (30 multiple choice and 8 grid-in).

1. How many times can I appear for my SAT Examination?

• There is no limit to how many times you may take the SAT. The ACT, on the other hand, can be taken a total of 12 times.Ideally, you should try to take the SAT twice. Attempting more than four times is a waste of time and energy.

2. Are SAT scores the only criterion for university admission?

• The SAT score is simply one of several factors considered by a college or university’s admissions committee when accepting students. A strong SAT score, on the other hand, increases the student’s prospects of admission and even financial help.

3. When will I receive my SAT score?

• Your SAT score will be available three weeks following the exam date.
